Privacy Policy

enkiRIDION is a philosophy companion available on the web, Android, and Even Realities G2 glasses, operated by D3 Hospitality (“enkiRIDION,” “we,” “us”), the data controller for the personal information described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Questions or requests: privacy@enkiridion.com.

Information we collect

Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and basic profile info to create your account.

Profile you provide. A username (handle), optional birthday, and optional notes about yourself. These personalize your experience — the birthday, for example, is used only to send you a note from a philosopher on your day.

Your content. Conversations with philosophers, journal entries, habits, saved quotes and cards, and aphorisms you post. Paid conversations are saved so they sync across your devices; the free tier’s daily conversation is ephemeral and not stored.

Payment. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles it and returns only a customer reference and subscription status.

Technical. Basic device and log data needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide and personalize the service, generate philosopher responses, sync your data across your devices, process payments and manage your subscription, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that make enkiRIDION work:

  • Google — sign-in.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
  • OpenAI — generating philosopher replies, transcription, and custom sprite images from the references you submit.
  • Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
  • Vercel — hosting.

Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Your choices & rights

You can edit or clear your profile and conversations in the app, cancel your subscription at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us. Downgrading never deletes your saved conversations, journals, or quotes — you simply lose access to paid features until you re-subscribe.

Data retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request or a reasonable period after account closure. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Cookies & local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser/device local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as your mindfulness-reminder settings), and operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser or device settings, though doing so will sign you out.

International data transfers

Our providers (including Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Google, and Vercel) may process and store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. By using enkiRIDION you understand your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

Your regional rights (EEA/UK & California)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of information collected and its deletion. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email privacy@enkiridion.com; we will respond as required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

enkiRIDION is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
